Despite having no formal engineering background, Dato' Dr. Siow has developed 11 medical inventions since 2006. Five of these inventions received more than 15 awards from both local and international innovation competitions within just three years, making him one of Malaysia’s most recognized medical inventors.

Dato' Dr. Siow's invention journey began in 2006 when he sought to improve the circumcision clamp he had been using for many years. As a surgeon who performed numerous circumcision surgeries in Johor, he frequently encountered complications during and after procedures. He received countless late-night calls from concerned patients reporting bleeding and other post-operative issues.

To address these challenges, he developed CircumStar™, an innovative solution designed to improve the safety, precision, and efficiency of modern circumcision procedures in Johor Bahru.
